The National Institute of Water Sports in Panjim gives short training courses in almost all water sports activities. In Goa many good hotels and resorts like Cidade de Goa, Oberoi, Taj Hotels have their own private beaches and in-house water sports facilities.

Winter season is the best time to enjoy water sports in Goa. Means you can experience a thrilling water sport experience between October and March. During monsoon season, the sea becomes rough and unsafe for water sports or even beach bathing. Thus water sports during monsoon season are strictly banned in Goa. Most of the beaches in Goa offer water sport activities, especially Arambol Beach, Anjuna Beach, River Sal in Cavelossim and Mobor and Dona Paula Beach are some of the main beaches for regular and dynamic water sports activities.
